What are Transfer Helpers?
Transfer helpers refer to helpers that are currently in Singapore and can be interviewed in person. When they can be transferred from one employer to another without a need of leaving Singapore and when their work permit is not cancelled.
What is the FDW Levy?
As per the Ministry of Manpower regulation, all employers must to pay FDW levy to CPF board, which is a monthly tax paid to government on every single foreign domestic worker employed in Singapore. Starting from 1 Apr it is 300 for the first helper, subsequent helper is 450. For citizens of Singapore with children below 18 yo or elderly there is a levy concession granted on eligibility requirements.
What is a security bond and how much is it?
A security bond is a binding pledge to pay the government (up to $5,000) if you break the law or the conditions governing the employment of a helper. You need a bond for every helper you employ, unless she is a Malaysian.
Bonds usually take the form of an insurance. The insurers guarantee to pay the government should you break the rules; then the insurers pursue you for the money.
You must not ask your helper to pay for the bond. We as agents will help you to obtain it on your behalf.
What is the Medical Insurance and Personal Accident Insurance for FDW?
Before your helper arrives in Singapore or join your family, we will help you to buy medical insurance and personal accident insurance as it is part of your medical obligations to her.
You must not pass on the cost of purchasing the insurance to your helper.
It is compulsory to obtain a coverage of at least $15,000 per year for inpatient care and day surgery during your helper’s stay in Singapore
Personal accident insurance is for your helper where you must have a sum assured of at least $60,000 per year for her. Must cover sudden, unforeseen and unexpected incidents resulting in permanent disability or death.
How much will the Insurance for the security bond and personal accident cost?

Is the helper required to undergo medical check-ups and how often?
All FDWs are obliged to undergo a 6 monthly medical check ups and current employers are normally notified by MOM directly via post and emails. Please note that it is full responsibility of employer to send their helper for medical check ups and costs varies depends on clinic’s charges. All employers must pay for all 6 monthly medical check ups by law
